Reflection/Description

I'm sick so this is sort of a low-effort project for me but I'm pretty happy with how it came along. I would definitely change and edit things such as the color palette (brighter colors, like in an Eric Carle book), font, and writing. But as a draft, I think it held up to my vision.

The idea is for these spreads to represent two open pages of a book, with the pages getting progressively smaller. I'd like to come up with some more creative ideas for page flips if I continued this project, like the ones in Munari's books. It would be nice to have a series of either chapters or booklets about the making process of various everyday items. One that the tutor and I discussed while brainstorming was scissors, broken into the metal and plastic bits and the process of creating those materials.

The post-it note feedback I got on my project was that they wished I had a physical product to show. Once again I was sick and sleeping until 3 pm most of the week, and I also didn't have access to a printer. But I'm still pleased with what I made, and the group crit session went very well.
